what is the best available multiuser blogging platform available?
I want to create a website where likeminded people who share common interests in specific subjects can log in and publish their blogs. In essence, i want to create a blog community.
Can anyone recommend an online publisher for multiuser blogging

You can use Drupal, Wordpress Mu, Movable Type and many others. Drupal needs some extra plugins to serve as multi user blog. Wordpress Mu on the other hand is the stand alone multi user version of standard wordpress blogs. There is a comparison at

Alternatively you can use the service of. I’ve never used their services, but they offer a hosted service for free.
