How do I travel with my fish via airplane?
I’m leaving for Oregon at the end of September and my only pet i have, a Beta fish, is traveling with me. But i havent a clue how thats gonna work, since supposidly you can’t even travel with water bottles on some flights. Any suggestions or answers would be great. Thanx

Call the airline you are planning to travel on and ask them. Other than that, I think you might have to let a friend or family member babysit your fishie for a while.

it shouldn’t be a problem as long as its package and labeled correctly as live stock all animals travel in the hold even fish your local pet shop might be able to help with info on packing fish for transporting
No liquids on any flight, I’m glad so many people are taking this as a joke. If it were your family that got killed September 11th you wouldn’t be joking about any of this. So, you want your fish so bad, DRIVE.
BTW don’t count on the rules changing for a long time, glad so many non airport/government people know so much more.
Sorry darlin, your fish wont beable to go with you. because the fish will be in a liquid which came from a non sterile area, it wont be allowed. And if you want to go so far as to letting that fish go in your luggage also not a good idea. If the cargo area isnt heated it will freeze, so you will have a frozen fish at about 30,000 ft.
Sorry.

Contact your airline, ask them for help to accomodate your fish.

Give your fish to some one you know, like and trust.
buy another one when you get to where your going.
any other option is too complicated or expensive.
