There are many different factors to determine whether restaurant is good or bad to purchase.
You need to ask right question to seller, how much is rent, weekly sale, how many employee, cost of food, profit, utility, lease term, and recent tax report. You need to know that nine out of ten restaurant business fail within 2 years.
If seller does not want show tax report, then maybe seller is try to hiding something. Buying restaurant is very risky unless you are expert in restaurant business. Make sure check that location is in business area or residential area. If possible, go with someone who in restaurant business.
